Our Future

Welcome to Penrith City Council's discussion of our future. This website will be used as a key part of our consultation with the community over the next 12 months, on a wide variety of issues. You are invited to check this site on a regular basis to see what's new, or you can subscribe to receive regular updates by using the 'update me' or the RSS feed function on this site.

Council has always been committed to extensive engagement about our City, and we value the diversity of skills, views and expertise in our community.  Engagement is an opportunity to gather different perspectives to more fully inform Council, and other levels of government, about what the community thinks on a particular issue. This in turn helps Council make decisions about policy directions and service delivery that directly affects our communities.

This website is the first step in establishing a regular and continued program of engagement with all of our communities.  Over the next year, you will be invited to provide feedback about how you prefer to get information, and how you would like to be involved in planning the City's future.
